At the 2019 Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts this March, member companies of the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability discussed their efforts to align on the basic elements for a framework on interoperable seafood traceability. Representatives from Thai Union/Chicken of the Sea, Anova Foods USA, Bumble Bee Foods and Albion Farms and Fisheries explained the importance of establishing industry standards for traceability and agreeing on a common language to allow systems to communicate among each other.
